Prayers for the New Year

Lord, I pray for our people who believe in you.
May they enjoy the gift of your love,
Share it with others and spread it everywhere.
I ask this through Christ our Lord Amen.
I wish to thank all parishioners for their good wishes, prayers and gifts over the Christmas Season.
I wish you a blessed and prosperous New Year.

Holy Father,
God of our yesterdays, our today, and tomorrows.
We praise You for Your unequaled greatness.
Thank You for the year behind us and for the year ahead.
Help us in Your new year, Father, to fret less and laugh more.
To teach others to love by loving them.
Knowing, when Love came to the stable in Bethlehem, He came for us.
So that Love could be with us, and we could know You.
That we could share Love with others.
Thank You for another new year and for new chances every day.
We pray for peace, for light, and for hope, that we might spread them to others.
Forgive us for falling short this past year.
We leave the irreparable past in your hands, and step out into the unknown new year knowing You will go with us.
We accept Your gift of a new year and we rejoice in what’s ahead,
depending on You to help us do exactly what You want.
We ask this in Christ our lord.  Amen

Thank you.

Dear Lord, please give me a few friends, a work to do
which has real value, without which the world would be
the poorer; a mind unafraid to travel, even though the
trail be not blazed;
An understanding heart; time for quiet, silent
meditation; a feeling of the presence of God; the
patience to wait for the coming of these things, with the
wisdom to recognize them when they come.  Amen.

Have a Happy & Safe School Holiday

We welcome all visitors staying with their families in our parish and wish them a happy holiday.

To all parishioners travelling during this time we wish them bon voyage and a safe return home.

To all children, students, parents and school staff we wish a Merry Christmas and a very happy summer holiday

and we look forward to seeing you next year 2022.

Grant me O Lord a steady hand and a watchful eye.  That no one shall be hurt as I pass by.
You gave me life, I pray no act of mine may take away or mar that gift of Yours.
Shelter those, dear Lord, who keep me company, from the evils of fire and all calamities.
Teach me to use my car for others’ needs; nor miss through love of undue speed
the beauty of the world; that I may with joy and courtesy go on my way.
Lord protect me and lead me safely to my destiny.  Amen.
