- Jubilee Pilgrimage 2025
During this year all Catholics are encouraged to undertake a Pilgrimage – to set out on a journey and to cross boundaries.
When we travel, we do change places physically, but we also change ourselves. It is important to prepare ourselves well, to place the route, and learn about the destination. In this sense, the Jubliee pilgrimage begins before the start of the journey itself: the starting point is the decision to set out. Pilgrimage is an experience of conversion, of transforming one’s very being to conform it to the holiness of God.
The Schoenstatt Shrine at Mt Richon has been designated as a place of Grace and Pilgrimage, Schoenstatt means a beautiful place. The Schoenstatt shrine is nestled among an expanse of grounds & natural bushland, providing an atmosphere of peace & tranquility. The mission of the Schoenstatt Marian Movement is to bring the presence of Christ to all we meet, discovering God’s love in every person, in all creation and in every event of our lives. To arrange an individual pilgrimage during 2025, please contact Sr Lisette on 0400 234 910.
Other Pilgrimage Churches in the Archdiocese of Perth are: St Mary’s Cathedral, The Basilica of St Patrick, St John Paul II Church and the Carmelite Monastery.
- Catholic Youth Assembly
